Britt’s journey to Monterey County began in 2002 when the Navy brought him to the Naval Postgraduate School. There, he discovered A Taste of Monterey—and met his future wife, Belynda—while working behind the bar overlooking the bay.

A 21-year U.S. Navy veteran, Britt completed multiple overseas tours and developed deep expertise in leadership, operations, and strategic execution. After retiring from the Navy in 2014, he held key roles with General Motors, Dell, and International Accelerator – a startup accelerator in Austin, TX – focusing on innovation, digital marketing, and customer experience.

Long-time wine club members, Britt and Belynda share a genuine love for Monterey County’s beauty and its world-class wines. Together, they are proud to continue the A Taste of Monterey legacy—celebrating the region, the community, and the place where their story began.
